At St Mary the Virgin we have very close links with our church school
St Marychurch C.E Primary & Nursery School

They have a service in church every week, Fr David as chair of the governors, works very close with the school

and several members of our congregation are governors of the school.

St Cuthbert Mayne joint Roman Catholic & Church of England Secondary School

We are very proud of our links with St Cuthbert Mayne school, the first such school in the country.

Again our links with the school are strong and we have a lot of young people from our congregation

attending the school and a great number of those leaving our primary school opt to continue their church school

education by applying to St Cuthbert Mayne school.
